Design is for everyone. It makes our lives better through intuitive products, sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, user-friendly and efficient public services, better home and work environments, optimised cities, and much more.
What ID2015 did —
Throughout the year, a series of outreach programmes and workshops offered the chance to get involved in design in a hands-on way.
A national library programme shone a spotlight on the design heritage of towns and cities all over the country, with information and workshops on subjects from animation to millinery.
A series of core exhibitions and funded events open to the public offered insight into the world of design, informing and inspiring visitors.
