We're here at WantedDesign in New York for the second outing of Liminal – Irish design at the threshold. Tomorrow we'll be hosting Design Threshold, a panel discussion with Simon Dennehy of Perch, Grayson Stopp of Design Partners, Vicky Rothschild of Rothschild and Bickers – all Irish design companies making their mark on the international design scene.
Advances in technology have had a catalytic effect, leading to transformational change in our societies. We face significant global challenges that require a radical re-ordering of our value systems and an unprecedented level of insight and innovation into how we shape our future. We'll be considering what role design plays in the evolution of our ethical, technological, economic and social systems and what responsibility designers have in ensuring a meaningful synthesis between technology, object and environment, as we accelerate towards the future.
If you're in New York, join us at 4.30pm at WantedDesign, Terminal Stores, 11th Avenue, or follow the conversation on Twitter between 4.30 and 5.30pm EST (9.30 and 10.30pm GMT). Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages to see more from Liminal and all the happening from WantedDesign in New York.
