Design It is an exhibition that introduces children to the process of design, illustrating how designers take ideas and make them realities. The result of a challenge to five Irish designers to create new products for children, the exhibition recreates each designer's individual studio, offering a glimpse of their working practices using their sketches, photographs and working prototypes to reveal how they get from an initial idea to the final product.

Alongside the exhibition, there is also a specially designed children’s area on the long room floor of The Ark, with areas for reading, playing and drawing designs. This space is filled with a selection of Irish designed toys and children’s products for kids to play and interact with.

Design It features the work of:
Leo Scarff Design - Product Designers
Print Block - Textile Print Collective
Eoin M Lyons - Jeweller
Snug - Furniture Designers

Free entry - no advance booking required.
