Join us for our Late Date with maker Simon Doyle where he will discuss his work in the current exhibition Side by Side at National Craft Gallery.
Simon Doyle is a furniture designer and maker. He describes the Shakers as an early influence, the 19th century American religious sect whose furniture rejected decoration in favour of the simple; seeking beauty through quality and reduction.
Enjoy a glass of wine and a relaxed look at the exhibition during this informal evening. For more information click here. Free event, no booking required
