New Architecture: Ireland
12.09.2015

30.11.2015
Conceived, designed and curated by AP+E, and supported by Irish Design 2015 and the Irish Embassy Network, New Architecture: Ireland is a travelling architecture exhibition that presents the work of six young Irish offices that have emerged during the recent economic crisis. Ireland’s financial woes during this period are well documented and this has had an enormous impact on the construction and design sector. This shift has forced architects and designers to refocus and, in this way, these difficult times have produced new offices and ways of thinking.
New Architecture: Ireland presents these new voices and the promise they hold for architecture, both in Ireland and internationally. The six offices featured are: Culturstruction, Donal Colfer Architects, Sult, Urban Agency, VAV & AP+E, with an introductory essay written by John McLaughlin.
