PORTFOLIO: Metals & Stone will present over thirty innovative artworks by seven of this country’s most distinguished artists working in metal, each working in a centuries-old continuum. Featured makers include Michael McCrory, Cara Murphy, Stuart Cairns and Coilín O Dubhghaill (all of whom were selected for this year’s DCCoI ‘Critical Selection’ by a panel of Irish and International jurors) as well as Alan Ardiff, John Hogan and stone mason Helen O’Connell. This stunning exhibition will showcase exceptional pieces created with gold, silver, copper, iron and other precious metals, using both ancient traditional and innovative contemporary techniques.
