Just how Palladian is the scheme employed at Castletown House?  This lecture will discuss Baroque and Palladian design influences on Castletown, built for William 'Speaker' Conolly from 1722, and will look towards British and European exemplars as well as considering Irish influences for the facades and floor plans.
